Changi Airport mass-recruiting PRC sales assistants in Wuhan, China

The Singapore Changi Airport and its Duty-Free stores will soon be launching a mass-recruitment drive, not in Singapore, but in the city of Wuhan, Hubei province in China in March this year.
They will be recruiting about 70 Chinese to work as sales assistants who will be paid a basic salary of between $1,200 – $1,300 monthly in addition to a housing allowance amounting to $200 – $400 monthly.
Besides Changi Airport, a well-known fast-food franchise and a semiconductor firm will also be recruiting PMETs in Wuhan at the same fair. The latter is offering a starting pay of S$2,000 monthly for engineers and S$1,600 for technicians.
The job fair is supported by China International Electronic Commerce Center and International Enterprise (IE) Singapore.
