Informal Dialogue With The Ex-Students of Brookes Business School Saga - Hougang MP Yaw Shin Leong

Informal Dialogue With The Ex-Students of Brookes Business School Saga

by Yaw Shin Leong on Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at 10:09pm

This saga happened in Year 2007. It was about the now defunct Brookes Business School (BBS) falsely associating itself with RMIT and offering fake RMIT degree programmes. A significant number of Singaporean students were affected.

To better appreciate the current circumstances of affected BBS students, the MP of Hougang hosted an informal dialogue this evening with them.

Moving forward, Shin Leong organized the students into 2 informal sub-groups:

a) BBS Students’ Testimonies Gathering Sub-Group
b) Communication & Outreach Sub-Group

The group is actively seeking out fellow ex-students of Business School to share and to pen down their testimonies.

Below are the details of the 2nd dialogue:

Date: 31st January 2012 (Tuesday)
Time: 7.30pm – 9pm
Venue: To Be Confirmed

If you are keen to part of this informal dialogue, please email Edwin Yeow at (eylew1983@yahoo.com.sg) to indicate your attendance. Thank you.

Best Regards

Shin Leong

This brings to question to WHAT ARE THE PAP DOING TO SERVE THE PEOPLE???

During elections they always say that they are better poised to help the people, they are in a better position to help the people but it is 1 out for 6 WP's Hougang MP can address issues but WHY NOT 1 MP from the PAP's 81???

It looks like the PAP is only interested in winning back Aljunied & Hougang with recent news of Lim Boon Heng coming out to help in that constituency grassroots. PAP it seems only care about winning monopoly seats in parliament & consolidating power.

This is a sign that the people of Singapore have to vote the PAP OUT in more constituencies in coming GE so that you won't REPENT!!! Make the PAP REPENT instead
